I have seen this movie dozens of times, but, loaned it out to someone and they did not give it back. Each time I see it, I cry like a baby. I recently lost my Mother 8-15-2008, and after the funeral some body made the comment that her funeral was one of the most beautiful funerals that they have seen, since watching Imitation of Life, and they were right, only thing is we did not have a horse and carriage for my Mom. What a great film my grandmothers loves this movie she would stop and watch it whenever it came on tv which is not often.So i decided to buy her the movie.She loved the quality of the picture and sound because in the past she had a old worn out VHS tape that didn't work well So she was thrilled with this DVD. I have always loved this movie ever since I first saw it some 40 years
ago. So when I had a opportunity to make it a part of my permanent
movie collection I jumped at the chance. It is a moving and emotional look
