- HDCP -- High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) is a form of copy protection technology designed to prevent transmission of non-encrypted high-definition content as it travels across DVI or HDMI digital connections.
- Response Time -- The amount of time it takes for a liquid crystal cell to from active (black) to inactive (white) and back against to active (black). It's measured in milliseconds (ms), and the lower the number the faster the response time--translating to a smoother picture with fewer pixilated or ghosted artifacts.

- HURTS MY EYESI regret buying an ACEr monitor as it bothers my eyes. I don't know if it is the size of the monitor or the brand but unfortunately, i can't take it back as we've owned it too long so we'll put it on a computer we seldom use.
I have a Samsung and Princeton monitor which do not bother my eyes. Next time we'll stick with those brands.

- Great value with some limitationsI purchased this as replacement for my 20" boat anchor CRT at work. The color is great. No dead pixels. The price was very reasonable compared to other, similar models. If it was more adjustable I would give it 5 stars. You can only tilt it vertically.

- KushThis monitor was purchased as an upgrade for my 17" CRT and I'm totally happy with my decision. For the price it has good features and I was able to fix it to my fairly old system with minimum hassle.
However I was not able to get the optimum resolution of 1680x1050 on DVI with my Matrox G550 VGA with 32 MB but it works fine on VGA at the same resolution.
