 Rating: - Apple Care WarrantyWhen I tried to register the AppleCare Protection Plan I was told by Apple that this product had been sold to me by a retailer that was not authorized to sell AppleCare in the state of Florida. Apple has reimbursed me for the cost of the product. Additionally, the product description should (maybe it did) include that you must be in the original Apple warranty period of 1 year to register AppleCare. I missed the year cutoff by about 3 weeks. Took about 3 minutes to complete. GOOD STUFF. Rating:  - Excellent service, but very priceyYou like MacBook and you spend a premium to buy it. But you should also remember that MacBooks are maintenance hungry. In the past 2+ years my MacBook had a replacement of hard disk, battery and body plastic close to keyboard. So, if you prefer to hang on to the MacBook, then you better buy this. Ofcourse, you may survive by not spending this extra on insurance and replacing them yourself. But the problem is, factor in the Apple cost for those hardwares + labor you will end up paying more - atleast ... Read More Rating: - Apple Protection PlanHave not had to use the protection plan yet but have had to take the MacBook laptop in for warranty service during the first year of owning it. They replaced the hard drive that crashed after 11 1/2 months of having the computer. With everything that Apple makes I am sure the price for a replacement hard drive is $$$ so getting this plan was worth it in my opinion.
